. The cost of living alone should not be the decisive factor for those hoping to move to a more affordable place. Some of the most affordable countries in the world are considered to be also the most dangerous to live in. Switzerland's stability and high quality of life are the main reasons it keeps topping the rankings," said Elliott Davis from US News & World Report. The country excels in categories like entrepreneurship and being "open for business," contributing to its long-standing dominance continues to be a top destination for Americans looking to move abroad, thanks to its proximity to the U.S., high quality of life and welcoming immigration policies. The country is known for its universal healthcare system, diverse cities and natural landscapes.

I'd pick the US. It's a giant melting pot. There's so many different opportunities, cultures, and foods. After living abroad, it's apparent how much people take things for granted.
People tend to talk about going to Scandinavian countries for financial reasons, but the US is still #1 for GDP and in the Top 10 for GDP/capita.
