I've been to DEFCON and nothing else. Some of the talks were neat, and watching a physical CTF thing was fun.

SGC was alot of fun. However, there were way too many people there for the venue, and it was obscenely crowded.

Yes, reaching the top kitchen cupboard and changing light globes without a ladder, Is a breeze.

Trying to remain Inconspicuous at a Defcon convention, Isn't so easy. I'd really love to attend (Defcon) and will plan on doing so within the next few years.

Simple solution. Go with 7 foot friends. You'll totally blend in.

You always have a solution for everything. That's one attribute you should be proud of.

Trying to find friends of that height, Is next to Impossible. My best friend Is the tallest of the lot at 6'3 (190cm), whilst others range between 5'6 to 5'11.

I definitely know the feel. I've ended up going to some charming local stuff and other types of events I wouldn't have considered if I had more easy access to the big conventions. However, those large conventions are an experience unto themselves.

Defcon is great but expensive. The people are nice and willing to teach, and really at night it just becomes a drinking convention = p People there love drinking and having fun as much as the technical stuff.
