Best convention you've ever been to? - Jiggly - 08-16-2018

I haven't been to a large number of conventions, but have a bucket list of ones I'd like to go to in the states.

I've done Comic Con, London, multiple times and a few others in the Excel centre there, but I learned about more like twitchcon, defcon and blizzcon. I hadn't heard of these until recent years.

What are some of the best ones you've been to/ Ones you really want to go to?

I went to Defcon 21, Anime Matsuri, and Megacon. All three were fun.

What's Megacon? Also, is Anime Matsuri like comic con or?

Megacon was for anime, comics, sci-fi, and gaming.
Anime Matsuri was primarily anime. Some other stuff.

In my locality, there Isn't anything that captures my Interest so I don't attend any conventions.

I'd love to attend Defcon, however It's not very convenient.

Yeah, if it wasn't for cost and travel, I'd go to more.

I'm sure It would've been quite an experience.

I'd love to go, but It's not as though I can jump In my car and make my way there. It's quite a lengthy flight and because of my height (198cm), I'd have to travel first class. No chance I'll sit comfortably In the economy/regular seating.

My dream would be to attend Defcon. But otherwise I've attended local fair trade shows and generally had a great time. Good food, good people, and you see all these local innovations made by companies. Which by itself is pretty cool.

I would Otakuthon 2017 was one of the best experiences of my life. Which is an anime convention.

Always been a fan of VCF because there's a lot of neat projects and stuff to look at and a pretty sweet atmosphere the whole time.

Past that ReplayFX and NAMM would be up there really close because ReplayFX is a game convention at the perfect size of "not too crowded" but still busy and NAMM has a ton of cool music stuff.
