What's the price range you're willing to spend?

Generally speaking In terms of cracking, you do need a decent GPU.

For that price, obviously you're looking at a used lappy. Even so, unless you're In luck, It'll be pretty difficult to find one with half-decent specs.

How Intensive are your tasks?

For MITM and RATting, you can get any laptop and it'll work fine.
Specs don't matter at that point, but I reccomend that you have at least 8GB of RAM unless you wanna run uCLinux.

As a minimum, I certainly agree.

Prior to purchasing my Predators, around a year ago I picked up an Acer 15.6" lappy (brand new) from my local computer store for 360$. It has 256GB SSD, 8GB Ram and AMD Quad-Core CPU. I used It as my test system and must say It functions very well Indeed. The major drawback Is the crappy AMD R3 VC. But for that price (being brand new) particularly with the SSD, I can't complain.

Python? You need a large supercomputer to make that stupid language run at a decent speed.
