Best Way to Get Her to Forgive You

Let's say you have a girlfriend who can't forgive you because of a mistake you've done that hurt her. What do you think is the best way to fix that?

Of course you want to admit your mistake and apologize, but it's not always easy. Sometimes, it takes time.

When my girlfriend broke up with me once for my own stupid mistake - I was texting her, calling her, leaving her flowers outside her door, telling her friends to try and make her feel better.. all that stuff. In the end, what I found out was that she just needed time to get over what I'd done and within about 2 weeks we were together again..
