Best Linux Desktop DIstro that isn't Debian or based on it.

Guys, I have been surfing around and looking for any other Distro that isn't Debian based or Debian that actually has Long Term Support of atleast 5 or more years per release, The distro has to be for Desktop and not server, and I have not found one, the closes I have seen is OpenSuse and it is only 3year support, I checked out CentOS but it seems to be server based more than desktop based, and the other like SUSE desktop is not free.

So is there any other distro that isn't Debian Based or Debian and has Long Term Support of atleast 5 years per release that is fully first meant for the desktop, please assist here guys.

Last I checked Arch wasn't LTS, having long term support for one single version.

Also, I want to try something out of debian, as it seems my wifi and network-manager aren't working properly expecially in the new Ubuntu and all it's derived distros.

Is Arch Linux long term support or rolling release?

It's bleeding edge. A new thing comes out it goes straight in to Arch. I've never had any stability issues with Arch. I do not run it as a server, but for desktops sure it's great!

I want something stable that wouldn't need to be update at least till 1 year completes.

You don't "need" to update anything if nothing is broken. You're not supposed to upgrade everything at once anyway.

You're missing the point of unix distributions if you don't "want to update" for a year. Go enterprise, get Windows or OS X and you won't have to update for a few years.

I don't want Windows cause of virus, and all that other bullshit. I don't have a Mac to get MacOS. So I am left with Linux, is their really no solution and only Debian and it's derivatives offer this?
