^ I've hear that as well. If they look good, I would get them, but I would't except much more than normal headphones.

If I were you I would go with Sennheiser or Bose, they are the best at making headphones. They may not look as good, but the audio quality is WAY better than beats, even if you get some for around $100.
I do a lot of music producing and djing and I've only ever really used Sennheiser. (I have a pair of old Sony headphones that look shit but have the best audio quality I've ever heard)

Sennheiser really are the best if you get top of the range ones, Boss are expensive as hell but they are literally the best headphones money can buy if you're willing to spend the money on them.

You shouldn't buy beats buy a hq headphone brand like sennheiser etc as beats are way overpriced
