I don't know if it's the 'American Sport'. I'm from Australia, but when I think of America in terms of sport, NFL/NBA pops straight into my head.

I can agree that Football is what would pop into most peoples heads when they think of the US, it is what we mostly watch. however, Football didn't really originate in the United States, but Americans established the official game of baseball. If you talk to many Americans, Baseball is widely considered Americas pastime, even though football wins when it comes amount of people watching or attending events.

I don't like watching baseball, but I enjoy playing. Very fun and action packed sport.
