Backtrack 5 no interface #1
Hi people. I use a 3G modem (for the moment) for internet connection on my Win7 Acer Aspire 7720g (the t7100 version). I've tried to hack a WEP with BT5 running on my 4Gb pendrive. Wireless card works for that matter. It starded collecting #data so i left it overnight for collecting. It couldn't collect enough #data because of free space on the pendrive Biggrin
Now, that was offtopic, sorry.
The 3g modem i use on Win i used once on BT5 too with sakis3g script, really simple and handy for any 3g modem.
Problem is that i now cant use it. Now backtrack can't detect it. In the modem i also have an SD card. When i insert it, on Desktop i see "Telenor" (the win installation for drivers) and my sd card. but now the sakis3g script says it cant detect modem that i jacked in USB port.
What more info can i give you? Since i am new in backtrack, i heard about "dmesg" but i don't know do i type it in new terminal or in the one i work in?
Help please
