RE: Ask Me Anything About Satanism #21
Did you read the malleus maleficarum?
What is the logic and rational reason behind deciding "I'll be a satanist"?
I'm an atheist but I still think that the concept of god is good because it drives the dumb (majority) of people to a good direction in a way that they don't try to find answers in their dumb way, which is good Biggrin
I tend to see that satanist people is smarter in correlation. So they MUST have some logic behind the whole thing, not just magic and vandalism and shit.
Why is being evil a goal, not the way of reaching a goal?

Makes the most logical sense imo, plus historical and theoretical DNA evidence. Plus, when Satan accepts you into the family of Hell, he reveals himself to you in a powerful, unmistakable way.

?? Like, proof? How?

I know quite a bit of Enochian magick and of the language itself. I do practice chaos magick. Chaos magick is defined only by one's personal preferences, of which goetia can be a part of.

Finally someone who takes this stuff seriously! Much appreciated dude.

I have read the malleus maleficarum - a long time ago.
The ration behind my even looking into it was meeting @SickPsycko and seeing how he conducted his life as a Satanist. Read into it, made the most logical sense to me.
As for being evil, as long as you don't shed the blood of the innocent or make unprovoked sexual advances, anything goes. I wouldn't necessarily call that evil. I would call a lot of what the Abahamic religions have done evil, however.

DNA evidence, architectural evidence, etc.

We don't work with evil. We are not an evil people. In fact, Satanists can be the most loving, caring people you'll ever meet.

Evil based on what?
Many religions see all other religions as evil.
Who's to say who is right?

Many Christians perceives Islam as a perversion of the faith, and many Muslims believe Christianity is essentially the same.

Which one is right?
Morality, evil, good, all of it is subjective to what someone is raised in to.

I'm also curious why, under your moral judgement, Satanists are inherently aiming to be evil.

Like a Muslim I won't say other religions are evil or anything, But we say they edited there own book, see If you look at Bible you will see prophet Muhammad name many time but they didn't translate it like Muhammad, they changed the word.
We respect another religions.

The "moral evil" behind muslim vs christianity is different.

Most religions come up with the concept of a good and all-knowing good power and a tempting evil one, each religion in parallel. It's just human nature, movies and books have this concept too, we create good and evil pairs.
Satan and the equivalent of satan is always the evil end of this, always. Your example is another form of human nature but not this essential.

Do satanists think otherwise? God being evil?

We do not believe in the Abrahamic concept of 'God' however we see the idea of a tyrannical empire that he/she/it represents as corrupt and highly flawed.
