Anyone has played ArcheAge from Trion yet ? Does it worth to buy it or should I continue to play Rift ?

ArcheAge was very disappointing. A lot of the things they hyped up before they brought it out of Korea have been severely crippled.. It's not the game they first advertised. I wouldn't buy it, just wait until it launches and play it for a week or so and see how you feel about it. It's going to be F2P and they are severely limiting what Free Players can do.

Thats what i thought ... Think I will wait / since I'm a bit bored with Rift I will look for another mmo to play for a while but I do not know which one I should try

Sad it's not as good as hyped. Was semi-excited for this, as I don't play paytoplay MMOs anymore.
Right now I play WoW but only for a month because Blizz gave a free month to HS players ^^ interesting to see how the graphics and landscape changed since 2006 (last time I played)
well, I guess after that it's time to go back to my lifetime LOTRO... gotta say, it's plain better than WoW, just not as much bling bling and hype etc...

Is it not going to be like rift's play 4 free? I think rift has one of the best system of free to play vs pay to play. I'm excited for its release and i hope they don't severely limiting what Free Players can do.

It's going to be free except you can pay for a membership to get bonuses. Think of it like Runescape, it's fun without membership but with the membership it's a lot better.

Some one told me that it was going to be like rift with the patron bonuses (More exp, Cooler mounts, cool costumes, ect.) but that's stupid of they are going to limit content to f2p players.

What it does is it gives you extra features like owning a house and stuff like that. I think it works fine because then the game is just pay for cool features rather than pay for ingame currency or pay for cool items.

Is it a subscription or unlock type? I still think it would be better if they had it like rift.
