I have a Galaxy S6 and a full charge doesn't even last half the day.

All devices are different and they all have different batteries.

Hah, hearing this stuff is silly to me. I remember when I used my old iPhone, well yeah that didn't have power be gobbled up, but it was a 1st gen and no apps would come out for the thing so I just had the basic pre-built ones. I do know that the iPhone my brother owned would last a very short amount of time (~2 hours at best without the case with added battery in it) due to background apps, and my current phone (Galaxy S6) can last me a bit longer than a day as long as I don't have skype open and keep power saving mode on. If not, I get ~16 hours

2 hours of battery life might be an exaggeration.

Depends on usage... I've had mine last for no more than an hour up to 48 hours or so on no usage..

All depends on the phone and how you use it.

When I was working 10 hour days, the phone would go without a charge for two to three days no problem.

With the power-saving features now, it can last a super long time. I haven't even tried.

I don't even use the power-saving feature on my phone and it lasts forever. They said "36 hour battery life", but I've hit that without the feature, and with general use before, so I imagine it could end up even better.

That feature makes your phone slow and choppy.
