While most Finnish metal is pretty hardcore, batshit insane, or both (looking at you, Turisas), Apocalyptica is lighter than most, but still a damn good band. I really like the use of lower-toned orchestral instruments; I've heard violins incorporated, but I never would have thought to fit a cello into metal.
