Wasn't there a TV show that had wouldn't green as food on it back in the late 90s early 2000s (thinking futurama?!?)?

Can't say I'd ever do this. Love actual food too much.

Interesting, I've never heard of it. The drinks themselves are too expensive for what I'd be gaining from them. Definitely not enough calories for what I'm shooting for so I'd have to buy way too much. The powder is a bit more doable price wise, and it's something I'll keep in mind. Gonna do a bit more research as I'm not completely sold.

Has anyone done this and noticed a change in energy levels? It seems odd that this would be healthy without any supplements.

Good point.

Given It's a meal replacement, I'm just wondering what "nutritional" supplements It contains (If any) as part of the required daily Intake.

I definitely see your point. I too, enjoy my food and there's certain types I eat daily and will not give them up for any meal replacement product.

I don't know much about Soylent, and whether there's any long-term effects with prolonged usage. If you have a change of mind and thinking of solely taking Soylent, It's probably a good Idea to look Into It.
Yeah, I actually tried doing full Soylent today for kicks and it was difficult for sure. I gave in halfway through for some beef briskets and potatoes. I S'pose I'm weak.

I was in jail for some time (not little time either lol) it is still partially real food and when I was released I did three things....ate REAL FOOD, pooped on a real shitter and went and bought some REAL CLOTHES every talks a big game about getting Chickas asap and shit but it ain't like that

Long story short I wish you luck if you go that route but sadly is never be able to
shit, that sounds rough. Yeah, thankfully i'm not giving up real food for good. It's too good to pass up.

It seems cool, but I've heard that the flavor takes A LOT of getting used to.  They now have the Cafe Coffiest flavor, which is probably what I'll get if I do get any.

You can make Soylent yourself if you want, it is suggested to add peanut butter into it.

I'm definitely gonna keep an eye on this thread.

yeah, I may experiment a bit with adding some flavor like cacao or Peanut Butter. It's incredibly bland and almost smells like paint thinner when there's nothing else in it. But, s'long as i don't smell it and gulp it down it's pretty alright

Yeah, feel a bit more energetic tbh. Not taking any supplements whatsoever.
But, I had a total shit diet before

I'll post the nutritional data on the back of the pack in a sec

I think Futurama or whatever you watched probably referenced the movie 'Soylent Green' which is about some kind of meal replacement and is where Soylent gets it's name:

GENERAL UPDATE:
Feeling generally better. Less tired throughout the day. Used to take 1 or 2 hour long naps halfway through, don't feel the need anymore. I suppose this is because i'm getting all the nutrients I need too. Feel less groggy in the morning, and don't have to go starving to my 8am physics class. So that's a plus. Maintaining one meal a day is definitely a must.

downside is soylent mostly tastes like shit. If i make the entire pack, it's almost incredibly hard to drink all of it unless I dilute it farther, just because it gets pretty thick and has more 'chunks' of soylent inside. Other than that nothing too bad. Some people say my BO smells more like soy, too. Kind of like an old indian dude who just had curry. I will look into this side-effect, i guess it's possible since Curry contains lots of soy as does Soylent.

Upon viewing the Ingredients/nutritional Info on the back of the packaging, It seems to Include a lot more than I expected.

I'm actually quite Impressed with the range of vitamins.
