[Android] Android 4.4 Will be Named KitKat 09-03-2013, 07:18 PM

Sundar Pichai, head of both the Android and Chrome division at Google has announced that the next version of Android, 4.4, will be called KitKat and not Key Lime Pie. Pichai also says that there are over 1 Billion Android activations.
The name KitKat shows that Google is keeping the tradition of naming each version of Android after a dessert. First it was Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean and now KitKat.
Personal Notes: I beleive that this is some sort of advertising trick, but I love KitKats so in the end this works.
What are your thoughts on the new name? Think it's some sort of advertisement tricks with Google, Nestle, and Hershey? Let me know in the comments below.
