I feel guns don't need to be restricted but certain things do such as certain rounds that you don't even need. Why you you need a 50 round clip, you will never use it.

My idea of gun control is keeping both hands on your weapon and hitting the target.
OP I really hope you aren't serious with your opening statement. Saying that the founding fathers "only had muskets" to think about is ridiculous. You think that they didn't know firearm technology would evolve? By saying that you might as well say that ALL of the constitutional rights and amendments are null and void because they couldn't see this far into the future.
As a Canadian I wouldn't expect you to understand it unless they teach American history and about the constitution in your schools.

I disagree on this.
The criminals with the guns will have the guns, while the normal people won't. That leaves EVERYONE to a disadvantage.
What if someone comes in to your house with a gun, what will you do? Try to stab him, that won't work because he can easily shoot you before you even get the knife.
