You shouldn’t trust medicine. Insomnia is funny because it is a result of your sleep cycle being completly wrecked, and it causes your cycle to be unstable. I’ve had some friends have this and they have overcome this by: 1. Not being on their phone or looking at a screen 1h before they plan to sleep. 2. Lessen the amount of sugar they consume and 3. Get atleast 8 hours of sleep as a bare minimum. Your main focus should be on getting a healthy sleeping cycle and feeling rested.

I get what you are saying OP. I have felt the same way for some time. I can't say what it is, but i have multiple diagnoses. I have anxiety, depression and aspergers. I tend to get psychotic if i am under a lot of pressure, and when i am bored. Maybe you are experiencing some of the same things. If you ever need anyone to talk to, hmu on discord: oxnan#7197

First if you go to a psychiatrist and tell him you're a mechanic, he'll tell you to get under the couch.

What you say is normal and happens to everybody, its like saying they are bored, but you have different level to that.
I suggest making life decisions, finding your love, travel the world, go out to drives to the countryside.
What you seem to indicating is stress of current circumstances, and you want to change that? Go ahead.
Nobody wants to die, its a small life anyway, make the most of it, and appreciate the memories when you look back, thats why avoid any such risk. Everybody becomes one with the sand of the earth. I don't know if you believe in God, but thats where i'd start perhaps.

Second most importantly, i already knew beforehand there would be 'specialists' here advising on medication and such. The previous generations got through world wars even today.
And if you ask the people that survived, they wouldn't feel sorry for such a person with 'mental illness' instead say 'be a man' and get over it.

And maybe Hobbes was right about the nature of man to pillage and plunder, for people in first world countries in a peaceful region of the world.

You shouldn’t trust medicine. Insomnia is funny because it is a result of your sleep cycle being completly wrecked, and it causes your cycle to be unstable.

Medications do work, and It's perfectly fine to take them as prescribed.

However, I believe Issues begin when you become reliant on a given med. If you're taking (example) Diazepam for Insomnia and It's serving It's purpose well, the moment you stop, It can cause a negative Impact on your sleep cycle.

Medication supresses the symptons, it doesn't cure the cause.

It depends on the medical condition.

For Instance, If a medication such as Abraxane or Doxil Is given for early stages of cancer, the likely hood of a cure Is more so than not.

You cannot cure cancer with medication. Cancer is the result of the immume system failing. Cancer is almost a cycle you stay in because it weakens your immume sytsem and it also caused by it.
There are many factors that are important. Such as Mental health (Cannot be forced). Exercise, sleep, sexual activity, FOOD and more. This is already long known in Africa but is not being shared.
It's crazy to think that the pharmaceutics industry is one of the biggest businesses in the world. Abusing people with their Treat Symptons medicine to keep them on it.

Also, most medication isn't tested on woman, children. Not to mention that Asians/Africans etc have a very different biologicial blueprint.

Obviously this is a very standard answer but I think it's incorrect. Do you know how much a chemo therapy costs? Up to 30 000$.
