One may think, what are the chances of a prop gun being wrongfully filled with live ammunition, and its trigger mechanism failing while it being pointed at a film worker that participated in a set walk out for unsafe conditions....

His defenses are that he didn't pull the trigger and that coworkers stated the gun was safe to use. They don't fire themselves and they're never safe to use. Only a murderer or a dumbass is going to claim otherwise.
