That makes no sense, How can feedback ever be wrong? Feedback is feedback whether it is constructive criticism, opinions or advice you can't be wrong or right with feedback it's information gathered on a product or a task that is then used to improve that task/product. You posted this thread so swallow your pride and expect people's opinions and criticism it's life. I don't want to argue or continue this on because my mouse/keyboard is having a fit, deleting words or making me type on another line.
What he says is true Red.
"He stated that I should use another tool to gain the exact same look as I had, now where is the improvement in that? Oh right, nowhere to be seen."
I said that he should use a certain effect (which he already has, just in a different way). So I gave a false suggestion claiming that he didn't use a certain effect, which he has, but in a different way. It did, however, shed light on the fact that his userbar was a bit dark. So there's some positives that came from that.
Also using the word choice off-center was bad on my part. Inton explained to me that the reason it looked off center, (which I even took a screen shot of) is because he used a backshadow that made it look sort of off. So I was wrong there too, while it indeed looked off centered, it wasn't, as he used a backshadow. I talked with inton, he gave me very good advice, saying to critique on what I see not think.
Inton is a very insightful and intelligent person, and he knows what he talks about. Of course he says the TRUTH and nothing but the TRUTH, which others can probably take offensively. But in the real world, that is how it must be, because if not, you will NOT move forward.
I'm learning a lot from him tbh, things I have not even considered myself. People say I'm a good designer, but that is far from the truth, I still have much to learn in all aspects of it.
That's my take on it. Just taking the courage to admit that I am wrong
