That's why you call it "ACK" like "SYN, SYN-ACK, ACK" :p

I just use "like" for this type of thing.

And when you mouse-over the button, a text will appear with "Acknowledge" thereby denote It's abbreviation.

Because for us greedy 'Muricans it's not Thanksgiving anymore and Christmas is all about getting what you want

I think the ACK button would be helpful in some usecases but it's helpfulness remains limited.

The question is whether the amount of times this would actually be used distinctively from the 'Like' button is worth actually implementing it into the forum
