Acknowledged Button - Blink - 12-16-2016

Sometimes I find myself liking posts just because they aren't at the point where a reply is needed, but I would like the other user to know that I acknowledge their post. Like should mean that you like a post, not just "acknowledged".

Solution - We should have an acknowledged button.

That's exactly what the "Like" system is used for.

I think that the "Like" button should be used for posts that you like, and an acknowledged button should be used for this.

This ^^^

I too, often use the Like functionality when a reply Is not really warranted and simply want the given member to know that I've acknowledged their post. Generally speaking, "Like" Is something that you can relate, conform or agree to, whilst "Acknowledge" Is a form of recognition.
EDIT: Typo.

If you're acknowledging something, you mostly likely "Like" it.

You can show recognition by liking something, imo it's not needed at all.

I agree with my friends here, a like button is more then enough.

RE: Acknowledged Button - pvnk - 12-16-2016

That's why we should've kept the thank button.

RE: Acknowledged Button - Vi-Sion - 12-16-2016

I see no difference to be honest ,if it was like, thank you ,Acknowledge ,or your the best bro ... bla bla bla
it has a well known purpose and i think people are using the like button well .
