RE: A short adventure with Nextbook #11
The client was too impatient so I no longer have the device to continue any testing, I tried playing it off as if I just purchased it from walmart and did not grab the receipt(common thing) they said return to walmart, I gave them walmarts return policy(I worked way to long for walmart I still have their policies memorized) but I was going to wait a week and use a different email and try my luck saying I got it used from a swap meet(also common) but they become very adamant to return it to walmart once you give them any codes, so I was going to play it off that when I got it from the swap that its serial was damaged and no box means no disa code. But when your main clientele is drug addicts, they become too impatient and try to sell shit to pawn shops and get busted, why I always demand at least 5$ up front for any work I do.

Haha, RIP Nextbook. Have to say I have used an older Nextbook and for its time it was the most awful device I'd ever used. Pressure based screen, software couldn't be updated, none of the standard Android recovery or reset features. It is truly meant to be used by absolute anyone who knows nothing about computers.

Yeah my sis-in-law has one she wants me to fix it is an older model but the power io is jacked I told her to just buy a new one cause fixing micro usb jacks is such a pain in the ass, so much so I even wrote a thread about how to get rid of em and wire them up LOL.
If anyone reading this wants a cheap tablet, just get a polaroid, they are cheap, owned by a big brand and they have great customer service.

Nothing wrong with attempting to make a quick buck, but do you even read the post you reply to in attempts to earn some extra income? Skimming through this I noticed he had a customer get impatient and take it back to sell as is.

I have been flooded with requests.........so i reach back out to everyone that doesn't respond to the instructions. This partiucular person couldnt get their computer to read the folders on the tablet so they gave up

I even offer to help some people via remote access if they have trouble.

I didn't see a single post on her about anyone directly requesting or reaching out to you, that's besides the point... The point was on page one the customer decided to snatch it back and sell the way it was.

Did you have any luck with this yet? I'm stuck as well. I can bypass most Android or Apple devices but this one is new to me and I'm stumped.
