I have read stories in the past about cartels making puerile boys execute people, or dismember bodies perpetually until they have no quandary doing it. Turning them into killing machines with no conscious left at a puerile age.

It would not surprise me if the boy will be looked after, most likely in confinement he will recruit and/or work from the inside. When he gets out, he will have made a denomination and rank and have a group of his own. And then the cycle perpetuates...
