I believe we certainly are an exception.

The nature of our active members and the quality of discussions throughout the board, pretty much speaks for Itself.

So it’s entirely possible that a large portion if not the majority of those are real people, but they’re likely users that click only on a post or two from SEO, and then fuck off to who knows where. But they’ll still be considered active for 15 minutes after their last page view, even if they imploded in real life
Interesting, it would be neat if that's the case. Out of 80k+ people visiting (or this case - 107,149 users active in the past 24 hours (657 members, 71 of whom is invisible, and 106,421 guests).), you'd think there'd be more daily registrations at the very least. My initial thought was to find a forum of similar size and age, saw one with 70k members, 1.2m posts, and their activity reads: There are currently 468 users online. 26 members and 442 guests - with 10,000 being the most online ever. That one is a different forum software though - not sure if that matters much.

Generally with our forum, I figured this went without saying. However, recent discussion has led me to believe otherwise. People are encouraged to read and follow our rules, especially those regarding illegal content. You have been warned - @Oni
