1,169 users active in the past 30 minutes (52 members, 7 of whom are invisible, and 1,115 guests).
82,945 users active in the past 24 hours (799 members, 79 of whom are invisible, and 82,067 guests).
But only like 6 barely active threads with 20+ minute gaps in between posts.
WTF yall doin?
80k people just come here to lurk on the daily?
Am I missing some hidden part of the site were all the posts are?

Yeah I'm always curious about those stats. I'm going to assume it's 98% bot activity, 1% @mothered and the rest is everyone else. @Oni can confirm.

We've been online about 10 years, but I don't blame you for the exaggeration. I'm assuming our visitors are ever-changing, as the WAF is blocking most of the bots (and some TOR users) right now. Usually the number I give the most weight is how many people logged in, which was about 870 today.

95,541 user active in the past 24 hours (777 members, 94 of whom are invisible, and 94,670 guests).
I think yesterday I saw either 102 or 120k active in the past 24 hours.
It'd be neat to see how much of the traffic is genuine, perhaps my 98% was an exaggeration but I doubt I'm far off. As much as I love forums, they're a dying breed. I really hope we're an exception.

To be fair, MyBB does store sessions and consider them active if it was a session cookie that was last used within 15 minutes of the current time (by default).
So it’s entirely possible that a large portion if not the majority of those are real people, but they’re likely users that click only on a post or two from SEO, and then fuck off to who knows where. But they’ll still be considered active for 15 minutes after their last page view, even if they imploded in real life
