A z87 board cant hold a 6700k. Only the z170 chipset boards can.

I pray for you.

I hope it's up and running by the end of the day. I used to want to try and put together my own machine one day (I'm too PC illiterate) but watching this process has put me right off.

Nothing ever goes as planned when PC building. Also, its rare to get a faulty motherboard.

99.9% done. My PCIE riser broke and almost fried things. Getting a more expensive one now.

Not as rare, when it's the retailers fault.

Spoiler:
The graphics card I ordered was supposed to be the open-box part, not the motherboard. I was surprised when I got the items from in-store pickup and the motherboard looked to be open-box and the graphics card was new.

Got the PCIE riser and everything is running great. Have to run benchmarks on this beast. Will post pictures later.

I won't "demand" pictures. Tongue @'Primitive'
But I'm looking forward to them. Smile

Good thing I didn't speak for you, but that isn't something you should ever be concerned with because you're not someone I would want to knowingly associate myself with.

I'm waiting on a USB 3.0 (20-pin) extension. I'll post pictures when I get it. Wondering what games can test this Titan X (if such a thing exists?!).

Cyberbullying is mean.

Which is, funnily, what I got.
