Tutorial Connect to Sinisterly's official IRC

First you will need to download an IRC client, xchat is the best but it costs money, so use the free alternative, HexChat.
You can download HexChat here.

Once you have installed HexChat, you will see this window.

Fill in the details for your nicknames.

Now we will click the add button.

Once we have "New Network" You will want to rename it to Sinisterly.
Now click edit.
You will now see this window.

Replace "newserver/6667" With "irc.rizon.net" Without the quotes.
Now click connect, you will be brought to this window.

For the channel enter "#Sinisterly"
Click ok.

Congratulations.
You are now a member of the official IRC.

I'm pretty sure they already have the Rizon network listed, but it'd never hurt to add it. I'm sure people that aren't used to IRC will find this helpful.

It was much faster to just do it myself.

First off, there's no "best" when it comes to irc clients, oh, and btw, hexchat is literally an updated version of xchat, xchat isn't really maintained anymore, so unless you're looking for an unstable unsafe client, don't use xchat; hexchat is better lol. For mac users, limechat or irssi, for linux, weechat or irssi Biggrin

(those are just my personal preferences, lol)

For windows my client of choice is mIRC. It doesn't actually expire.
For mac its limechat, and for linux its xchat.

mIRC is just like WinRar. there's that notification but nothing actually stops working. I use mIRC personally (cracked) with NoNameScript, I love it.
