Anyway I'm using 7 so I can't really judge.

You can disable all the "spyware stuff" which is basically a neckbeards word for "when you type into cortana or edge we will send information to bing so that we can give you quick results just like chrome and firefox does".

Probably not the in-dept answer @mothered wanted me to make, but  rather than shit all over windows 7, my favorite native feature of Windows 10 right now is the "Linux subsystem for windows", and "Bash on Ubuntu on Windows". I can do everything that I would normally have to go onto my linux box to achieve straight from the Windows desktop. Plus this makes it possible to run Linux applications natively from the Windows desktop, which is a great bonus wine/whatever will never be able to achieve. Bash on Windows has all of the features that Ubuntu's bash terminal has, but actually looks good, and runs on a OS I can use for daily tasks.

I quite like win10. The UI is easy to use and all the apps I need are easy to reach either on the taskbar, or the start menu thingy. Haven't ran into any problems that were caused by windows and I like the design. 8.256387/10.

And which version of windows never supported that?

I strongly dislike Windows 10, not for the privacy issues, as they can be worked around, but due to the sheer amount of trouble I've been having with it on my hardware. I'm not sure if it's a fluke, or unrelated, but my clean Windows 8.1 install has been running much more smoothly than my old clean 10 install. Windows files were fucked up which resulted in me having to clean-install anyways, I just didn't have a 10 disk on hand, and I couldn't log into MSDN easily at the time.

In the beginning, I too, experienced Issues with Windows 10.

The Taskbar was non-functional at random times, so too was the audio. In my case, I believe It was a standalone Issue- as my other systems were running (and still are) quite smoothly. I hit a clean Installation of Windows 8 on the problematic PC, and all Is well. My other lappies running Windows 10 are fine to date.

There was this strange issue with the clock going off screen as well, wasn't this a bug for everyone on Win10 initially?

I'm not sure on the clock, I haven't read reports nor have any friends mentioned that to me.

One friend however, did have similar Issues to myself (the Taskbar), but didn't mention specifics. I'll be seeing him tomorrow, so I'll ask exactly what problems he was referring to.
