Linux definitely, but I still haven't found the distro that I want as a soul mate. I'm using Arch now, but I'll probably end up making my own distro at some point.

Use Arch, compile own kernel, etc....

Like... LFS, a modified version of another distro, or totally from scratch like Sortix?

Not sure yet, it'll be a while before I decide. LFS does look cool though.

Same here. Even if I don't use it anymore (and probably never will), it was my first distro and it's where I learned the command line.
