Does anybody still download music??? #1
Not that I don't stream like everyone else but I still prefer to have physical ownership over my music whether it be mp3 or vinyl. It's gonna sound crazy but in the back of my head I've always had slight paranoia of satellites and towers crashing and the whole world not having internet access lol. I don't know about you guys but comprimising my music is something I'm not willing to do if that were to happen. Am I the only one that feels this way??

^ This.

When I was Into music, I was hitting downloads from The Pirate Bay and also back In the good ol' days of Limewire. Nowadays, I simply navigate to YouTube.

It's been a few years but I used to keep the MP3s/FLAC. I mostly just use Spotify and back up the playlist now.

I only download if the music is from obscure artists where I can lose access to the songs. Other than that if the world collapses and I can no longer stream I got bigger things to worry about than not being able to stream songs

It was the world not having internet access not the world collapsing. In the event that we ever do live in some Mad Max times though I'm glad to know I'll have everything I need at home including a soundtrack for the end of the world. Crazy that you won't miss music! Besides there's alot of music that's not available on the DSPs due to labels and their politics over who owns whos masters.

Classic. You can never have too many although wifey disagrees haha. Did you ever mess with 7"?? Most people call them 45s. Those are hard to find!

Usually I only listen to music online on major music platforms.

Because my phone doesn't have enough memory to store music.

I still have both 12" and 7" vinyls - purchased back In the 80s.

They're In very good condition, still In the original cardboard covers with plastic Inserts where the vinyl sits In.
