Hello, everyone, I am posting this as a restaurant employee and at my store we accept DoorDash but the system is not as automated as some may think. DoorDash provides a tablet and we manually enter in their order which is all fine until payment, the way we receive our payment is through a code we get from DoorDash but these codes are not random. The codes are linked directly to your DoorDash account (think of it as a pin to your bank account) with these codes we can create a new order and instead of paying for it we could just memorize a code and use it for the order and charging the person who's account is linked with the code. We can't do much else with the code but if someone skillful that could recreate our POS and link it to their bank and if they can remember some codes they could essentially drain your bank account.
