Each Christmas since 1952, the UK's Queen Elizabeth II has given a televised speech to the nation, addressing the issues of the year and hopes for the future. One of many Christmas traditions  in the UK is to tune in to watch. This years speech was especially lovely, and finished with a choir from NHS (the UKs world class social healthcare service) and a montage of important features and individuals from the year. However, WIRED have worked with three experts to create a Christmas Speech for the Queen using AI. They used data from every speech made since 1952 as well as covid-19 articles from the year. They gave the AI prompts and compiled its responses to make the speech:

It’s been a tricky few months. We have some serious problems that need to be solved. The only way to solve these problems is by coming together as a whole. For us to be free and happy, we need to care about the whole country more than its individual parts. We need to work with each other so that everyone can flourish and live in peace. We must take care of all of our citizens, no matter their race, gender or religion. No one should be left out in the cold and need help from others. We should always strive to be better. We must never give up on its quest for a brighter future. When all this is done, it will be a country that can truly say that everyone who lives in it would rather die than let harm come to another person. We will feel more united in our past accomplishments, as well as the hard work and dedication we have put into making this country what it is today.
