Of course US elections are coming up and US media decides to panic around the same time the fed's non-existent pump money starts becoming ineffective. What happens? More panic, huge stock drops, "recession is here", etc. Who can save the US? Someone running for president... Realistically time. The fake money pumps were bound to catch up eventually. The market needs to correct itself and subsequently it's going to happen in a drastic way which won't end overnight.
Companies will go back in operation soon, but there will be prolonged wait times for items. Until then, we will continue seeing the market fall which puts everyone with investments in panic mode, causing a harsher fall. The economy will rebound in the summer, but we won't see any real turnaround until Fall/Winter. Oh, guess what happens in the US around that time? It won't be where it was in February making it seem like an overall loss.
My only advice is don't panic sell stocks because they will rebound. Buy option puts asap. It's not done declining for a couple months, so give it another month or so and buy stocks. Give it a year and you'll be sitting +200% at least.
This aged as well as I do
I'm doing beyond my expectations following actual advice given.......
