That's a pretty good one. I often multitask, which keeps my brain busy if one of the tasks isn't as interesting. For example, if I'm grinding something repetitive in a game, I may have Netflix or a podcast running. Another example is working on commissions while watching TV.
Alternatively, find a project that challenges you, or study something new. There's hundreds of free online courses you can take for almost any subject known to man. They're pretty easy to complete, and sometimes you can get a certificate at the end for a fee, which is a nice little addition to your CV/Resume.
We're not on this earth long enough to be bored. You just have to think a little more about how you want to spend your time.
