It's good to do a battery calibration once in a while though....
I don't thing keeping it plugged in affects the battery
but gamming on battery and not AC affects the battery since much process are going on in the system at that point in time it stresses the battery you can check it in task manager and view power usage
did you ever hear about battery cycle charge , once your cycle over , battery will be dead ,.

but whats about cycle charge ... one day it has to be dead .... battery cycle are like 3000-40000 etc
if battery is around 60% and i plug charger and start playing games mean laptop is using Ac power or until battery fully get charged.
and one more question about battery cycle as i do gaming so keep laptop at 100% while will reduce cycle ? at normal work i never charge my laptop much just make 90%.
Although It's good practice to allow the battery to discharge every so often, as said, having It on charge will not affect Its health.
