I never knew until about a month ago that Social Engineering was thing. I've been doing that since I was about 10 years old (I'm 40 now) and I started to SE Columbia House and BMG Music for CDs. Always under a different name, but always coming to my house. When someone investigated it after 2000 CD's were acquired, My mom looked at them and told them "the boy is only 11 years old, are you planning on prosecuting him because it seems to me that maybe you should have a better screening process". I thought to myself "WOW", that was too easy. Its been on ever since. Never did it for anyone else to make money, outs always been about me getting refunds or getting double or triple items. Like I said, I never knew there was whole community to such things.

Welcome aboard. Not many can claim they were Social Engineers 30 years ago, though the concepts and attitude remain the same.
