From what I can tell on the MSI website, there are different models of the MSI Aegis 3. I saw one PSU with an output of 450 Watts. That's not great for a gaming build.

Most pre-builts have cheap power supplies. A lot of newer graphics cards require at least a 500W PSU.

If you provide the dimensions of your current GPU, it would help.

If he upgrades to that 1080, he will not have enough power at 450W. That said, he can upgrade the PSU.

Desktop: MSI Aegis 3 7RB-045EU , but can't find anything about the power supply..

The Zotac 1080 I linked earlier is even smaller. How many watts is your current PSU?

Power Supply 450 Watt and my current GPU only uses 75Watt. Most of the new GPU's use 300+ i guess.
Any recommendations? Need one that's better than the 1050TI Gaming 4G and doesn't use to much Power Supply
