true, however, even though MEGA has a really good security infrastructure (meaning that if you try cracking 1 key, you'll take forever, literally), it actually backfired due to user posting unauthorised content, they're not doing anything bad, they were just too naïve and though user would not post as much illegal content, im pretty sure they though that they will only be a few dozen users posting illegal, unauthorised content on their servers, but because their is soo much account posting that type of content, they cannot manage everything, thats why i think they should have a filter that scans the content of the uploaded file, this would reduce the number of unauthorised content getting uploaded, they'll would now just need to filter the uploaded content, remove and ban the users.

As with every file sharing site, It's not possible to filter every byte In It's entirety.

I know that the owner of mega upload learned a huge lesson, but the staff working for MEGA (especially higher-class employees, or even the CEO) should take notes of Kim, because even though that happened to him in 2012, the internet has changed a lot since and there is way more of those around now and it will continue growing. But we know that they do since they take down leaks of nsfw content regularly, so they are aware of what can be on their servers, even though it's not their fault for having this type of content uploaded on their servers, they're fighting against it, which is a good thing and shows that the moderation (if can be called so) cares a lot about what is posted on MEGA, they want to protect the good reputation of the service and continue to bring people over to use their service.

TL;DR: MEGA should have a filter when users uploads content towards the service, even though it might not be a 100% accurate, it will drastically reduce the number of unwanted, illegal content found on the service (filtering will also save a lot of time for the staff to take down content not following their ToS)

The last thing any business needs, Is to sift through thousands of false positive reports.
