After these to relationships, I would rather just date IRL instead of online
In my younger days, I've had long-lasting relationships via online dating, but I have to agree that IRL Is the way to go.
Physically meeting for the very first time, can determine a lot more about a person than a few Images and text on the PC screen.
I'd argue there are different challenges to online/long distance relationships than in real life. I will say, online dating lead me to someone much more well suited, though they were the other side of an ocean. You can just as easily find terrible people online, as you can in person. One positive of online dating, is that you will more than likely meet people through similar interests (such as video games, on a common website etc). In real life, you'll often meet people through the pure chance of being in the same place at the same time. I've found my friendships online share more common interests, than any in real life.
