In terms of checkers, they do exactly that- check for valid logins against the combo they're working with.

Thanks! Just had to come reference this tonight. Hope it works. Netflix tracked my phone serial number for creating multiple accounts so when I tried a different email addy they said I already used the devices in my house for watching. I think it's crap they're keeping our serial numbers to our devices stored against our permission.

Screw the T.O.S. as no one ever reads them because they're so long and convoluted!
