It would be really cool to have some tutorials describing how some of the jailbreaks are working on the site. Anyhow, here's something I wanna share that some people may not be aware of, and that is the towelroot by geohot. It exploits the futex_requeue function in kernel/futex.c in Linux kernel through 3.14.5. Therefore it should work on any android phone <= 3.14.5.

If somebody has resources on iPhone jailbreaks > iPhone 5 (not sure what version of IOS that is) that is not actually malware, I would be grateful to read about it.
