Both Remcos and netwire are professional, top quality rats.

Some speculate that netwire was bought by Feds, as it went for sale and then "Decided to stay in business" by the same owners.
So its possible the feds bought it and told netwire to act as if everything was normal.


Remcos is really good, but a registry entry with the buyers (rat controllers) unique key gets added to victim registry.

So if U infect a PC, the victim can get the key, go to remcos and say "I didnt authorize it" and ur lisenece is now banned.


So I honestly am really hoping for a version of remcos or netwire, which doesnt "chat" with any other severs (Such as Update or authentication servers)

I'd like to be the sole owner of my RAT.

In the past, this was easy with DarkComet, so today I seek a RAt which doesnt have any backend, current candidates are AsyncRat on HF, or other, homebrew rats.
