The protests were over PRC's new law that allows for extradition for residents of Hong Kong. I say residents because, if I read correctly, even non-Chinese residents of Hong Kong are open for extradition.
International businesses with a presence in Hong Kong are even feeling anxiety. It's not a good situation.
Yeah I'm aware. It's really a baseless law. PRC is no place for people, nor is it a republic...
