And If you're using a laptop, don't forget to tape over It's built-In webcam.

In fact, this should be done regardless of your online habits.

Why do this in the first place though? I understand it eases paranoia but if they could see from your laptop wouldn't it be compromised? I feel that would be the least of my worries. Unless i'm missing something.....

Yeah.. Unfortunatly a lot of people don't tape their webcam...

It's one of the first things I did when taking my lappies out of the box.

For the average user who simply navigates to Facebook, Twitter etc, there's no cause for concern.
