Hm, I used to make music and post it here quite a bit. Now I just make it every now and then.

I actually like it. Especially the gate effects. However, I feel it would have been spectacular if it had strings. May I ask what software you use? I usually use FL Studio.

First off, use what software you are comfortable with, there is no "better DAW", just because I use a specific DAW doesn't mean anyone else should use it.
On Linux I use Bitwig Studio.
On Windows I use Ableton.
I do know I can run Ableton through Wine (and have actually thought of doing that), but I'm just lazy so I don't.
