I never tried gambling once before. I never bought any kind of scratch or lottery ticket in my life

My stepfather has been playing the lottery since he migrated to my country (50+ years), each and every week and although he's won on a number of occasions, nothing major such as first prize. I couldn't possibly put a figure on the amount of money he's down/lost.
