I assume the SSD Is the boot drive? If so, excellent choice. You will notice a "significant" difference In boot times. Installation of applications, Is also quicker and obviously data-Intensive tasks. The VC Is very respectable.

Yes of course. I first used a plain old WD HDD as a bootup up until last year.
When I booted my first SSD (An ADATA SP550), I was mindblown.
Ever since then, I'd actually shutdown my computer knowing that in 10 seconds or less, my computer would be ready. Before, I would never shutdown my computer out of laziness. One time I remember checking task manager to see that my computer had been running for 26 days straight.
