A lot of people in my school play it, as well as my brother. (which means that I'll be annoyed at the mention of it)
It seems alright, although I suck at basically every shooting game, and I haven't played it (yet, at least).

I'd say give it a go. If anything, because the battle royale part is free to play. Though, warning, I thought the game was a bit shite after playing pubg, then it's just grown on me. Seems to be that way with a lot of people.
