Just as a matter of Interest, how does the GTX 1060 handle the gaming side of things? I'm not a gamer but do have the GTX 1070:

I perform a lot of memory-Intensive tasks and read/write operations, and that's where my ram (32GB) and SSD come Into the equation.

It does it's job pretty well, but I'm not really a gamer either. But it does run games such as Battlefield 1 perfectly fine on max settings since I've upgraded to with i7 7700k.
