This is my workspace during the semester, too lazy to lug around my desktop with all my monitors, so i deal with this:



trying out Gnome + Tmux because I like the graphics. It's pretty good so far, but i find myself coming back to i3 pretty often.

tmux is fuckin' great though. Pair it with Ag, fzf, and some nifty vim plugins and it's all I really use.

tmux is screen for milenials.....

Also, why do you bother with all these GUI disasters?

Just install fluxbox and be happy. It has all of the things you need and none of those useless graphical bullshit things.

i'm not really a fan of fluxbox... eventually i will install and use Ruwm, but that's just not done yet. I still favor i3 over everything else, it's just not the WM in the screenshot right now. if wayland does take off anytime soon, which i don't expect it too, i'll have to migrate whatever i wrote for my WM to wayland, since i'll be too tempted not too.

for now i'm sticking with i3/ gnome tho
